Objective: Discover and use the basic Microsoft 365 applications.
Week 1: Introduction to Microsoft 365
Understand what Microsoft 365 is.
Introduction to the main applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive.
Log in to your Microsoft account.
Practical exercise: Create a Microsoft account and explore the dashboard.
Week 2: Introduction to Outlook (email)
Send and receive an email.
Attach a document to an email.
Use the copy (CC) and blind copy (BCC) fields.
Practical exercise: Send an email with an attachment to a classmate.
Week 3: Using Word (basics)
Create a simple document.
Make text bold, italic, and underlined.
Insert an image.
Practical exercise: Create a cover letter in Word.
Week 4: Using OneDrive (Cloud Storage)
Send a file to OneDrive.
Share a file from OneDrive with a link.
Practical Exercise: Import a Word document to OneDrive and share it.
Week 5: Introduction to Teams (Instant Messaging)
Understand what Teams is.
Join a team.
Send a message in a channel.
Practical Exercise: Send a welcome message in a Teams channel.
Week 6: Using PowerPoint (Basics)
Create a simple presentation.
Add text and an image to a slide.
Practical Exercise: Create 3 slides to present a project.
Week 7: Planning with Outlook Calendar
Create an event.
Invite participants to a meeting.
Practical Exercise: Create a meeting and send the invitation to a classmate.
Week 8: Review and Final Project
Use Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and Teams for a mini-communication project.
